What are women's circles and why are they important?

Women’s Circles are Pure Magic and why every woman Need to Be in One

There’s something powerful, even transformative, about a women’s circle. Every time I step into one – whether online or in person – I feel that magic unfold. I didn’t feel this right away, though. Like many, I loved the idea of women’s circles but showing up as my true self – vulnerable, raw, messy, whole – in front of a circle of sisters was a journey that took time and courage. And trust me, I’ve been in circles that felt like a warm embrace and others that, honestly, weren’t held with the care they deserved. Finding a circle that resonates with you and a space holder you connect with is like finding a key to a hidden door within yourself. No one else can create your “safe space” – that sense of safety blossoms within you, and it’s nurtured through the presence of women who listen without judgment, who hold space for each other, story by story, word by word. Women’s circles remind us that we have a history of healing to do together – of feeling safe, of being seen, heard, and held. We heal in pieces, each time we share honestly and truly feel listened to. When our stories are met with open hearts, without interruption, correction, or unsolicited advice, our innate wisdom starts to emerge. Having experienced the gifts of circles held with reverence, I knew I wanted to bring that sacredness to others. Through my training with my beloved circle sisters Erin Walker and Katherine Eden, I learned to embody the art of space holding by starting with myself. And every day, I continue to learn, side-by-side with every woman who joins our circle. If this speaks to you, if you feel a spark at the thought of connecting deeply with other women, come and join a women’s circle. Together, we hold space for each other to rise, to reflect, and to feel truly seen. It’s a journey, and I’d be honoured to walk it with you.

“Call it what you want - a gaggle of goddesses, a women's group, a femme flock, apower posse, a girl gang - it doesn't matter. All that matters is that you have womenwho will stand by you, women who will reflect back to you just how much you areand just how much you are here to share. There is no great spiritual tool forrevealing your soul than a bevy of women who believe in you. "
